October 6, 2019 7:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Y Be Fit Palm Desert Challenge
Y Be Fit Palm Desert Challenge is a health and fitness fair, which will include a reverse triathlon, a 5K run/walk, and a 2K color run. There will be vendors, booths, music, and pool play at the Palm Desert Aquatic Center. Sign up on the website to participate.
October 12, 2019 3:00 p.m. – Rumpelstiltskin Family Fun Day at the McCallum Theatre
The McCallum Theatre presents this classic through participatory theater that is fun for all ages. There will be humor, clap and sing alongs, and lots of audience participation. Ticket prices are between $10-$25.
October 27, 2019 from 12-3:00 p.m. Halloween Spooktacular at Cathedral City Civic Center
Bring the entire family for trick or treats, DJ music, hourly kids’ costume contest, and an interaction with police and fire personnel and equipment. A safe-communities, Halloween event featuring the Zombie bus and blood drive and admission is complimentary.
October 27, 2019 (schedule to be announced) Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade
Running down El Paseo & San Luis Rey, the 55th Annual Palm Desert Golf Parade is an opportunity to come out and celebrate local business, floats and bands, a Kids Zone, lots of food and fun!

Your family will enjoy seeing the zoo “after dark” and participate in animal chats, an astronomy station, scorpion walk and bat detecting station. There is live entertainment and food and beverages.
Price: $12 for members, $14 adults and $8 children ages 3-12. Children under 3 are free.
